Jamie McGeachie

As Managing Director of the Group, Jamie has founded several successful businesses in the retail and finance industries.

With over 22 years’ industry experience in these sectors, he has established a keen sense for identifying opportunities to diversify and adapt business for relevance and growth in an ever-evolving marketplace. The highly sought-after investment and credit products offered through Investors Central and Finance One respectively have been a particular testament to this. The McGeachie Group has also proudly derived much of its success by investing in their dedicated teams, to allow them to genuinely share in the success and growth of a values-based organisation....

As Managing Director of the Group, Jamie’s goal is to build a business that promotes integrity, with personalised and proactive management of our clients, enabling them to achieve the best financial capacity possible. He continues to build the business through developing strong relationships, investing in staff and always working with honesty and integrity.

Darren Cantor

MBA MAF

Darren holds numerous qualifications including a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Applied Finance (MAF).

Darren is the Group CEO and responsible for the strategic direction and leadership of the company. Prior to joining Investors Central, Darren held a range of senior leadership positions within financial services.

Quinnton Cowen

CPA

Quinnton holds a Bachelor of Business degree and is a member of CPA Australia. On graduating he worked in private industry before moving into public accounting practice and joined the McGeachie Group of companies in January 2012. Prior to this, he played a vital role as an external accountant and business adviser to the McGeachie Group.

Quinnton leads the Group’s accounting team and is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the Group’s financial systems and delivering accurate and timely financial and management reports. As CFO, Quinnton is responsible of all treasury functions for both capital raising and the overall business operations.

Andrew Kemp

B.Com CA

Andrew graduated in Commerce from the University of Melbourne and is a chartered accountant. After working for KPMG and Littlewoods Chartered Accountants in Melbourne and Sydney, he joined AIFC, the merchant banking affiliate of the ANZ Banking Group, in Sydney in 1978. From 1979 until 1985, Andrew was Queensland Manager of AIFC....

Andrew joined the North Queensland-based Coutts Group as General Manager early in 1985 and continued with this group until January 1987 when he formed Huntington Group Since 1980, Andrew has been involved in a range of listings, debt issues and acquisitions and divestments. He has structured and implemented the ASX listing of 11 companies and four debt issues as well as advising clients on a wide range of investments and divestments. For the three-year period from June 1997 until June 2000 he acted as chief executive of the listed agribusiness Australian Food & Fibre Ltd, the period of rationalisation after the trust was corporatised.

Huntington Group has always been an active investor in equities, notes and other debt securities. Andrew is currently a director of the following listed companies: SIV Capital Limited (formerly Silver Chef Limited) from April 2005 and PTB Group Limited from August 2006.

Joseph McShanag

B.Com CA MBA F Fin

Joseph graduated in Commerce and joined KPMG in 1989 and qualified as a Chartered Accountant. In 1991 he joined Pitcher Partners which formed from KPMG Partners who desired to focus on serving the middle market. He gained experience working on a diverse range of private client businesses across a broad spectrum of industry sectors. An audit secondment to Singapore in 1994 presented exposure to Asian business operations and culture....

In 1996, Joseph joined National Australia Bank Limited (NAB), and gained experience in executive roles in Finance, Strategy, Mergers & Acquisition, across various divisions, including Retail, Business and Institutional Banking and MLC Life Insurance and Funds Management. He completed his Master of Business Administration from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment through the Securities Institute of Australasia (FINSIA), a Diploma in Frontline Management through The Australian Institute of Management and the NAB Executive Leadership Program through the Australian Graduate School of Management. At NAB Joseph gained a broad understanding of Global Financial Services in a large publicly listed company environment, through hands on experience in strategy development, mergers and acquisition, investor relations, operations, credit risk management, compliance and board reporting.

In 2006 Joseph started his family investment office, focusing on creating, growing and managing his family investment portfolio. His investments cover all assets classes across six countries. Joseph consults to operating businesses and provides capital to private businesses where he believes it can add value and has trusted relationships with the owners.

Joseph is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia, a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia and a Member of the Melbourne Cricket Club.
